One gearbox bolt pattern in two places for left and right chassis configurations

Our chassis drive module is a single part with two configurations - a left and a right. I'd like to two identical sets of bolt patterns for the gear box, one per configuration. What is the recommended way to only draw the bolt pattern once but have it appear in one of two locations depending upon the configuration?

If I was able to suppress a parent item without suppressing the children then I could mirror it, but from what I can tell SolidWorks will not allow this.

Many thanks

Steve
