Getting code that is on the crio back into a labview project?
I am not sure if this is as easy as it sounds, but is there a way we can access the code that has already been stored on the 4 slots crio's?
We lost our Labview codes for our 2014 robot, and we are having problems with our crio now. So i was wondering if there was a way i could get the code off the crio and back into a Labview Project or at least something close that would let me see how i programmed some things on there? I am thinking its not possible because we already convert it into 'machine language' while building the code. I may be wrong? But would'nt it be as easy to convert it back to labview code?...idk? |

It is not possible to get code from the Crio once it has been downloaded. When you download the code to the Crio, it is compiled (converted into machine language). It is not possible to "uncompile" (autocorrect wanted me to fix that word) a program. Think of it like this, there are many ways to do the same thing in software and the computer doesn't know which way it was done originally.
