Compressor not starting

I've opened the solenoids in my Begin.vi, and have corresponding programming in the teleop.vi. The solenoids respond, but my compressor isn't starting. I'm not sure if this is entirely programming or if it could be the PCM. We've switched out the New PCM from this year with the old one from last year. And nothing has happened.

Any Suggestions, or help?

Re: Compressor not starting

Try shorting the leads of the switch. If the compressor turns on, then the switch is bad.

Re: Compressor not starting

Since there is no robot code needed to run the compressor, this is almost always a wiring issue.

There's no explict code required, assuming that you've opened a solenoid. This isn't the OP's issue, but is important to remember in other cases.

Re: Compressor not starting

You might take a look at the Solenoid With Compressor example that ships with LabVIEW. It shows how to wire the hardware. From within LabVIEW go to Help>>Find Examples... to launch the Example Finder.
