Gearbox dog gear problem (WCP DS WCD)

Our team is using WCP DS Gearbox with 3 CIMS and West Coast Drive. However, the dog appears to not move all the way against the dog gear so we're concerned it won't drive it properly when shifted into low gear. It moves up fine against the high gear though.

Has anybody encountered this problem before or know of a solution?

Re: Gearbox dog gear problem (WCP DS WCD)

That spacing is incorrect. This is a common problem and is caused by incorrect spacing/tightening of the nut in the shifter coupler. Did you make sure the nut is in the exact spot shown in the manual?

You can verify this problem by shifting the coupler by hand and seeing if the gear on the opposite side moves from its original spot.
