Vision w/ Ubuntu for a newbie

I just got the job of programming all of our teams vision stuff on ubuntu using Open Cv and the Jetson Tk1. Anyone some basic code for this FRC comp that I could look at or any guide etc. I'm pretty lost :L

We posted this up a couple years ago. It is our vision tracking system built on Ubuntu and written in Python.
It was written specifically for a PCDuino but porting it to a Jetson shouldn't be too difficult.
