FRC Dashboard too big for driver station screen

Hello, the 2014 FRC Dashboard windows are too big for our classmate at full screen. When the driver account on the classmate is logged into, the dashboard starts in fullscreen mode but the windows are too large for the screen and are cut off about halfway through the I/O tab and the toggle button for entering windowed mode is grayed out. We can open in windowed mode on the developer account but the windows are still too large and have to be moved around to see anything. We've tried changing the screen resolution on the classmate but it hasn't worked. Has anyone else had this problem that could help? It'd be very appreciated, thanks!

What resolutions have you tried? It should be 1024x600.

It's not allowing us to change the resolution, it's currently set to 800x600 and the only other given option is 640x480, we have one of the E12 classmates if that helps

I have imaged our new E12 Classmate and I am experiencing the dashboard being to large for the screen. I applied the driver fix from this post to no avail.
The dashboard will originally come up blank. If I change the dashboard source from Default to Labview, and then back to Default the full dashboard will come up, but will not fit on a single screen with the Drivers Station.

The imaging went smooth without any errors.

We had the same issue last year with another E12 and the driver fix corrected the problem.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

It's probably confusion in which model Classmate you received and which image you are applying.
When the wrong image is loaded (E11 vs E12 vs E14) the video driver is the first sign of a mismatch.

You can try one of the other likely images.

P.S.
Double-check the model # listed on the side of the box the Classmate came in.
Or inside the battery compartment it also gives the model number.

We are experiencing the same problem ourselves. We have the Classmate E11 and the image I downloaded says E11, so it should be the correct image.

The display resolution is correct, at 1024x600 (the maximum). We also tried installing the graphics drivers from the 2go site, but that was a no go (no pun intended).

If we log in under the Developer account everything loads as it should, in windowed mode too.

Is there perhaps something different about the way the dashboard/driver station is launched in the driver account?

That's not an image or video driver problem then.
That looks like the Dashboard window frame just isn't being removed and the frame is taking up too much space.

The Driver user account is treated differently than the Developer account just in that it automatically is supposed to remove the Windows frame.
It looks like the Dashboard frame removal is failing.

You can modify this behavior yourself using the LabVIEW default dashboard project to make yourself a custom dashboard.

After loading the different images on the classmate and still having the issue, we discovered what the issue was.

Our taskbar was not automatically hiding on the Driver account. Once the Taskbar was off the screen, both the Drive Station and Dashboard had enough room on the screen.

Yup, that was our issue too. Setting the taskbar to auto hide fixes the problem.

Same problem with the E12 classmate. Go to https://ctl.app.box.com/shared/mlqvvza3ar/1/180337509 and download the video driver folder, extract it then run the application, reboot and things should work better. The file should be 02_video_8.14.8.1086.

Anyone have a copy of the E12 video driver that allows 1024 resolution? We bought a new E12 this year and can't find the driver on the CTL web site.
