GRIP with Kangaroo

We are trying to use GRIP for vision processing this year(with a usb camera). We are thinking about buying a kangaroo as suggested here: https://wpilib.screenstepslive.com/s...garoo-computer
We noticed that it has a built in battery. This is not allowed. We were wondering if there is a way to remove this battery and connect the Kangaroo to the roborio power.
