Where to buy another ADXL362/ADXRS450 Gyro

We are quite satisfied with the ADXL362/ADXRS450 gyro that came in the First Choice package. However it seems that we are unable to get another one through digikey. The Analog Devices website only sells the actual gyro chip, which won't work for us. Where else can we buy the entire unit?

Re: Where to buy another ADXL362/ADXRS450 Gyro

how did you connect it? I see no documentation on the Analog Devices website, and see nothing on the wpilib either. We are using C++, I see no class code for it either...

Thanks.

It's super simple to hook it up. Just plug it into the SPI port on your roboRio. And for the whole WPILib thing, there's libraries for Java so I'm pretty sure there are libraries for cpp. In Java the library we use is the ADXRS450_Gyro. In cpp it might be the same but I'm not sure.

Re: Where to buy another ADXL362/ADXRS450 Gyro

If you only need the gyro and would like something a bit easier to mount/wire remotely, Analog Devices sells an evaluation board for the ADXRS450. The part number is EVAL-ADXRS450Z. Photo below:

They're $54.38 at Digi-Key, almost free if you still have your $50 Digi-Key KOP voucher.

Re: Where to buy another ADXL362/ADXRS450 Gyro

Is it really true that we cannot buy a copy of the ADXRS450-FRC that came in First Choice package. This was too easy to install and seems to work OK.

Now we can not buy a spare?
