Brand New FRC Show - And, You can get involved!

Hello all!

I will be starting a Brand new FRC show on Sundays at 8pm est.

Many of you guys know me as I am a pretty active member around here but I figured I would reintroduce myself and give a little background on myself.


My name is Samuel Perkowsky and I am the captain of Team 2869 The Regal Eagles from Long Island, NY. I am also a competitive Gymnast. Something I have been passionate about since I was young was content creation. I got my first camera when I was 6 and made little videos on the side. I then went and made my first youtube channel when I was 7 and ran a weekly show called “IChristian” inspired by ICarly of course and essentially did a very odd talk show about what we did that day in Sunday School. It is very cringy. When I was 11 I returned with a gaming channel and when I was 14 I started the most legit channel called Techclash. The channel has since been stopped due to a number of factors but I will give you some history. At one point the channel had 2.5 million video views. I had over 14 sponsors including Fractal Design, Makeblock, Func, Sennheiser, and Audio Technica, and I made videos multiple times a week. In January of 2015 every single video was taken off the channel after a previous partner got into the account. The reason for the end of partnership ended up being a misunderstanding with a small trade. I tried to recover the channel after but, It was truly never the same. I have since decided to stop posting content. I still get press passes through it to events like “Makerfaire, Google Cloud Platform Next, Comic Con, The 3d Print show, Inside 3d printing, and Engadget Expand and have become friends with people like MKBHD, Linustechtips, Teksyndcate, and Barnacules through it so I consider it a success.

But…. It is time for a new show.
First is my passion right now. Right now there are a couple of great First shows run by people with more knowledge than me. There is one similarity between all of the larger ones, they are all run and hosted by adults/mentors. My show which does not have a name yet will have different Student Co-Hosts every week. Along with Adult/Mentor Co-Hosts. However, the show will always have more student co-hosts than mentor co-hosts.

I am asking two things from you guys.

First please sign up to be a Student Co-Host.
Prerequisites
Must have over 1 year of FRC experience. Sorry no freshman.
Must have a Webcam plus mic. Essentially make sure you look and sound decent.
Must be willing to stay throughout the full 1hr long show without interuption. Make sure to alert your Family you will be live no awkward conversations with your mom about coming to dinner.
Must be willing to be on Youtube forever.
Must be a High School Student
Must be on an FRC team (No FTC yet)

Lastly you may have noticed this show does not have a name yet. Please give suggestions for names.

The first show will go live on Sunday, February 14th. Yes I know Valentines day. The topic will be “What makes a good reveal video and how do you make one”
The Next topic will be
“Team Presentation”

This sounds awesome. I wish you the best and I will encourage my team to watch. They will especially love the first episodes theme. We've never made a reveal video and plan on it this year.

Maybe one of them will want to be on the show, who knows?
