Have you checked ho your gauges are mounted? if they bump around, are impacted, crushed, or put above normal operating pressure, they tend to break or show incorrect pressure readings.
My recommendations:
1. handle your gauges with care wherever they are, or will be
2. mount them firmly to the robot so that they do not move
3. Make sure that minimal (if any) debris enters the gauge
4. Do not hit the assuages with a hammer
5. Seriously, impacting the gauges is one of the worst things you can do to it
