Talon encoder cable extender?

We are trying to lengthen our encoder cables, and we were wondering if, on Digikey.com, part number 952-1365-5-ND manufactured by Harwin Inc. is reliable.

the pitch of the ribbon cable and connetor linked is wrong. The pins on the header are .05" apart, so the cable needs to be 0.025" pitch. The linked cables and connectors are double that.

This Cable is 150mm long (about 6 inches) for $3. I think it's not any longer than the ones you have, but might give you some good search terms.

We ordered these using the Digi-Key KOP voucher and are hoping they will do the trick. They haven't come in yet so we can't say 100% that they will be perfect but are hoping they will allow us to keep our controllers in a nice orderly package.

We got these. https://www.digikey.com/product-deta...645-ND/3883465, no strain relief, but no need to modify like some of the others. They worked fine.

Another question that I have is, what is everyone doing with their CAN wires (if you are using can)? Like are you cutting them down so they are not super long and annoying to deal with.
