Robot Reveal Video Advice

I'm planning on making a robot teaser as well as a reveal video for this year. However, my team's never made one before, and neither have I. What advice do people have on making robot reveal videos and teaser videos interesting and effective?

What i normally do and I have been making videos for a while is, look on youtube for all the reveal videos you can find. What program are you going to be using? I may be able to help out a little more depending on it.
