Oops. I hope you don't have issues with inspection, since red is supposed to indicate + voltage and vise versa.

It's good you caught that! If it had been plugged in normally (red to red, black to black), it would have fried the circuits and made the part useless.

This part will never see a robot in our shop. Too much risk of students doing the "right" thing and putting red to red and black to black. Contacted Vex. 2.5 hours from initial email to shipping of replacement part. Spot on customer service.
