Walky Talky At Competition
Can we use walky talkys at competition to communicate around the event center? I know they are not permitted if we are cued or driving, but to communicate between the pits and stands.

Re: Walky Talky At Competition
I wouldn't advise using them, we've used them to communicate to our members in the stands from our pit , but otherwise, I wouldn't use them. It shouldn't be a problem but you wouldn't want to accidentally connect into the events staff's radio channel

Re: Walky Talky At Competition
Walkie Talkies are mentioned in the Admin Manual Section 4.13 Site Restrictions "Do not use walkie-talkies."
Volunteers communicate with these on multiple channels (Refs/FTA/Crowd Control). Chances are venue staff will be using these also. Last edited by ayo_christina : 18-02-2016 at 14:36. |
