The way it works is (for the most part):
1) If you can get if from SPI (Small Parts), then you get it there. 2) If you can get it from SPI and the are out of stock or back ordered, you can get the same thing somewhere else. 3) If you can't get it from SPI, check to see if it's in the Additional Hardware list. If it is, you can get it anywhere. 4) If it's not in either, you can get it of use it unless it's fabricated from something purchased from the previously mentioned. There is no money cap this year except for the circuit board, which you can only spend $100.
