Talking Robotics "Promposal" Idea?

So I'm thinking about asking my boyfriend and teammate of two years to my school's winter formal dance (not actually prom, but the same idea as a "promposal") and I'm looking for ideas on how I should do this. The dance itself is a week after the end of build season, so I can't do anything at competition, but what are some nice FIRST puns that I could maybe incorporate? Thanks!

Either have the robot drive up to him with a sign that says "winter formal?", or you could like 3d print something if you have access to a 3d printer

no wait, have someone drive the robot with a sign that says "follow me" and have it drive around a corner and you're standing there with the sign :You're my FIRST choice to winter formal!"

Re: Robotics "Promposal" Idea?

The best "promposal" stories I've seen all involve a robot delivering the invitation, and usually involve the game name/theme and/or the team identity.

Robotic promposals are inherently corny, so either go big or go elsewhere. Don't do it partway. Here's an example: "You've breached my defenses and have a stronghold on my heart -- my tower is yours for the taking." Be original, be creative, be fearless.

Re: Robotics "Promposal" Idea?

I've decided to do a promposal at competition next year (shhh he can't know that yet though ), so I've been keeping an eye out for ideas... there's been one this year so far (http://bit.ly/1Ws64wV), but it's too bad it probably won't work next year...

Re: Robotics "Promposal" Idea?

280 had a whiteboard on the bottom of their robot that was revealed when they scaled the tower. One match at Southfield (FiM) had a promposal on it. (I think she said yes.)
