GRIP Deploy Error

Hi Chief Delphi,

We're having problems uploading our grip pipeline to the roborio. The error message is:

Quote:
/usr/local/frc/JRE//bin/java -Xmx50m -XX:-OmitStackTraceInFastThrow -XX:+HeapDumpOnOutOfMemoryError -jar '/home/lvuser/grip.jar' '/home/lvuser/project.grip'
Java HotSpot(TM) Embedded Client VM warning: INFO: os::commit_memory(0xb24a0000, 4194304, 0) failed; error='Cannot allocate memory' (errno=12)
#
# There is insufficient memory for the Java Runtime Environment to continue.
# Native memory allocation (mmap) failed to map 4194304 bytes for committing reserved memory.
# An error report file with more information is saved as:
# /home/lvuser/hs_err_pid3040.log

Re: GRIP Deploy Error

Related issue I opened.
https://github.com/WPIRoboticsProjects/GRIP/issues/519

FRC User programs eat up most of the memory on the Rio.
We will discuss potential fixes but our suggestion currently is to run GRIP on a co-processor.
