We ended up keeping the HF rims, milling out the bearing hub and having some replacement hubs waterjet cut that uses the bolt pattern of the HF rims and a 1/2" hex hole. One hub on each side of the rims. We're really happy with these tires/hubs, they fit the sweet spot for our drivetrain between the AM tires and some 10" tires we tried.

Our preferred method is hitting the defenses fast and going dukes of hazard on them, but proper tire inflation keeps us from catching quite as impressive of air.

As far as I know (being the programming mentor, and not mechanical :-P ), we used the same hubs that they came with (yes, the same Harbor Freight wheels), but we had to make custom covers to size up to the hex shaft (if that makes sense).
