Re: Team 1708 2016 Robot ----HeartBreaker
That is our secret weapon haha. On a lighter note it was either that our a the 4ft. actuator that we bought in 2008 (which weighs about 30 lbs.)
Hope to see you soon! Good luck out your way also sir. |

The robot looks great! You guys were a blast to work with in Pittsburgh last year and we're looking forward to seeing your bot in person this year.

Re: Team 1708 2016 Robot ----HeartBreaker
Very nice looking robot. Curious, how wide is the frame on either side of the ball intake? Do you have at least 8" of frame to support the bumpers?

Re: Team 1708 2016 Robot ----HeartBreaker
We barely squeaked in the 8" on each side needed for the bumpers. The frame is roughly around 28" wide if I remember correctly.

Re: Team 1708 2016 Robot ----HeartBreaker
I'm curious. You say you lift the portcullis "to go under". I'm confused on how none of the rest of your robot would get stuck. Perhaps I'm missing something, or is this more "word play".

You will just have to stay tuned at competition
not giving my details at the moment. You are not missing anything and was not meant for "wordplay" as the other sentence haha.Last edited by D_Price : 25-02-2016 at 09:58. Reason: wording |
