Re: The Robonauts 118 - 2016 Video
I see springs and pneumatic cylinders on the catapult, but I'm not really sure how they work together to launch the boulders. Any ideas?

Re: The Robonauts 118 - 2016 Video
What we did on our robot is used the pistons to pull the springs back and then used a latch system to hold it down and then primed the cylinders and release the latch. I am not sure what they are doing but it might be something like that.

I have no idea why it took me until now to notice that drivetrain is a octagon just like ours.
