FRC Fantasy League 2016 - Back Again

We are back again with another year of Fantasy League.

Last year got some good input and are working on creating our own FRC fantasy site, but until then we are still using the same site we did as last year.

That means only 32 teams can make the cut. We have voting up live right now at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PZT3NDR

This includes the teams from last years league, and those teams that made Einstein last season, but not all of them will make the cut. Be sure to vote for your favorite teams. Voting will close Wednesday March 2nd at NOON, giving teams a chance to watch Premier Night (FRCTop25) and get their votes in for their favorite teams.



How will scoring for the Fantasy League work? I'm glad you asked!
Each week you get to pick 5 FRC teams. (I suggest picking ones that are playing that week) Picks will normally happen Monday -Wednesday (Closes at Noon) Then you collect points based on how those teams perform during the tournament, awards and public ranking system.

After last years nightmare of a scoring system, I am glad we are back to something a bit more normal this year. And like last year it will be broken down into 5 areas teams can pick up points.


1. Qualifying Matches - Will be based off the Teams Ranking Score this year.

2. Alliance Selections - Teams can get points by being an Alliance Capt. or being selected for an alliance. Points are as such:

- Alliance Captains
1st Seed Capt - 16pts
2nd Seed Capt - 15pts
....
8th Seed Capt -

Alliance Picks
1st Pick - 16pts
2nd Pick - 15pts
.....
16th Pick - 1pt

3. Finals - Each time a team wins a Match, they get 2 points

4. Awards - 10pts per Team Award/Finalist Alliance & 20pts for Charimans/Winning Alliance.

5. FRC Top 25 Ranking - Teams get points if they are ranked as such:
1st -10th Rankings - 15pts Each
11th - 20th Rankings - 10pts Each
21st - 25th Rankings - 5pts Each.





Voting for teams is now Open til March 2nd at Noon!
That Evening (March 2nd) the Fantasy League will open up
Week One Picks will open till March 3rd at Noon for Week One Only!

All other weeks Team picks will be open from Monday till Noon on Wednesday.
