99% of teams will probably be staying in hotels out in Latham / Albany by the airport, where there is your usual assortment of chain fast casual sit down restaurants and whatnot. I don't (didn't) eat out there that much, but there's a Red Robin, an Uno's, a Cici's, Olive Garden, some Chinese buffets, that sort of chain family fare that should work for you guys. Lots of places out there along Wolf Road or route 7 should be fine. Honestly this is probably your best option versus eating in Troy directly.

Troy is full of excellent little places to eat, most of which are not "large group of high school students" friendly, but are all delicious. Muddaddy Flats is a take out / eat in fast casual quesadillary, with a variety of delicious options. They should be big enough for a team or two. Up the hill by the Wal-Mart is Pancho's, a decent Mexican restaurant great for large groups. Lots of the best restaurants (Brown's, Bombers [though that just closed down, right?], etc) are also bars, so you probably can't take kids there. Flying Chicken is a pretty good soul food place, but it's close enough to a less than desirable neighborhood that I can understand if you're sketched out by it

I'll edit a few more places into this post once I remember.
