Rutgers has a great RAC

10 Hours until the doors open at the RAC. Most of the robots are there waiting. The field is set, the volunteers are trained. All is well in FIRST ville.

So if you are staying up reading this on CD- GET TO BED!! You need to get up very early in the morning.

Let the games begin!!!!

Don't forget 293 the team which picked the crane(25) to be our partners at J&J!!!
We were seeded dead last because of our wheels but after replacing them with casters we moved up to first with our "en fuego" manuver where we would steal the other teams black ball while 25 picked off any balls that we missed. That was a great year for both of our teams we won 2 regionals j&J and the Drexel regional!
We look forward to competeing with our fellow BMS team members tomorrow!!!!

One thing the regional comittee has been asking lately, and one thing you yourself can help us by asking others, is HOW to get a webcast at Rutgers.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that now only NASA-sponsored regionals are casted.

Now what *I* want is a copy of that smile video that they showed at our "social" tonight.

believe me- the webcast of the event is one of the higher priorities the regional committees is looking for in the future. Know anybody who does that stuff?

The NJ Regional is just going to get better and better. New home- bright future.

Yea,

Akamai Technologies.

www.akamai.com

They charge by the number of streams you expect them to use. they might be willing to donate. I've got a few contact numbers if anyone is intrested.

The problem with webcasting isn't the equipment, it's having the bandwidth to distribute it. 100 streams at 100k each is 10 meg. Not many people have DS3's just hanging around unused.
