Re: Is it possible to duplicate the competition WiFi setup?

Yes, the team number will be the SSID on both devices.

Re: Is it possible to duplicate the competition WiFi setup?

Hello Mark,
I have configured the robot's radio in bridge mode, and the 2nd radio in AP mode. I have plugged into the 2nd radio via ethernet. I can see that I get a DHCP address on my driver station, but I cannot connect to the robot.

There is a red LED on the radio on the robot, making me think that it has not connected to our AP.

Any thoughts as to what I could try from here?

Thanks.

OK, I configured by "field" AP as dual band, and that seems to have made things work.

Thanks again.

Re: Is it possible to duplicate the competition WiFi setup?

Bridge appears to configure as a 5GHz bridge so you would need 5GHz or dual band AP to get them to link.

I'm actually a little surprised that works, I would have guessed they'd both be set to the same IP and have a conflict.

The KOP radio is dual band so that shouldn't an issue.
