Vision Processing Lights
We are trying out vision processing this year, and we are using a 12V green LED light ring for targeting. How do we power these lights/what are we supposed to plug them into?
I've seen that you could plug them into the 12V 500mA ports on the VRM, but I wasn't sure if that was ok... Last edited by homerun33ss : 09-03-2016 at 22:11. |

Re: Vision Processing Lights
Yup that would be the one to use. We've got one in each of the two available 12V 500mAH ports.

Re: Vision Processing Lights
I can't think of a reason why powering LEDs from the 12V 500mA VRM output would be a problem.
The pair of concentric ring lights on the TechnoKats' robot are powered from one output of the Pneumatic Control Module. We measured the current draw at less than 120 milliamps. |
