Math has become a lot more fun.. I'll see a number that correlates to a team number that I know, and I'll stop and stare at it for 5 min

... When you're obbsessed with another team's robot. (SPARKY- love ya sparks!! ) and you plot out different ways of kidnapping it and eloping to it.... when you take pictures of it every time that you walk past it at a regional, and some of your teammates have to contrain you from taking any more... when you wear the wristband that they handed out for 3 weeks after the competition, and cutting it off was a very hard decision to make (tons of people commented on it.. one person asked me if sparky was my name!)

when you come back from a day of working at the BAE regional and you thought it was the best day ever because you managed to get ean Kamen's and Woodie Flowers's autographs

almost all of your friends never heard of the above mentioned people, but you dont care

when one of the most important things you look for in a college is if they have a FIRST team

when 6 out of the 8 colleges you want to apply to have a robotics team

OK, after today's practice rounds on Rutgers, I left with my brother who goes to there, and I went with him to his orgo class (organic chem.)
and they had a few notes and then a quiz....
I took the notes...
and then during the quiz, i drew pictures of our robot
from different angles... And different poses...
I almost drew a heart around it...

man, I'm pathetic

when you find yourself an "honorary member" of quite a few teams... and that's only after one regional!

when you use remark that an action someone took in laserquest wasn't gracious professionalism

when you get all excited when that little title under your CD username goes from "junior member" to"frequent contributor"

when the phrase "check mail" includes checkingout every thread on the CD portal

when your team is inactive you come up with a challenge that the team has to build a robot for (they have to build a bot that opens a door) because you absolutely have to build some sort of robot
