Go to Post Dave Lavery was right... all we had to do was type in "attack old lady" and when we started up our robot it did. - Human Player [more]

Re: Scream For Sally

I could easily go both ways on this. Having driven in very bad scenarios this year with the drawbridge out I would totally vote for the Sally port. For all the people in this thread, how many have actually driven on the field and tried to see around the drawbridge? I'm sure if you got behind the glass you would have a different perspective on the matter. Honestly I would say that for improving qualification matches #screamforsally sounds like a good idea. We choose to not put it out on our side as much as possible because it's such a pain to see around. And yes we have a camera on our robot, and no it does not work to drive with because of lag. Driving with a camera is not the most advantageous way to drive. Yes we will likely still see the drawbridge, but the next time before you place it out there consider your alliance drivers and make them happy by #screamingforsally. For elimination rounds everything is fair game, and defended should be chosen that will help you win.
