I think you're right - but I also think a lot of people (teachers, some students, etc) are getting a little over-concerned.
I must admit that before we got down to Michigan for the GLR that I told the people on 783 to not bring up Iraq or anything, cause I wasn't sure how 'the Canadians' would be received. Well, long story short everyone loved us and seemed to love our flags - at one point an entire section of Americans was chanting 'Go Canada!'. The group of people involved in FIRST are definitely the most welcoming people in the world (Americans and Canadians), and everyone supports everyone else. I expect more of the same in Houston. Go America! Go Canada!, and GO LEAFS GO!!!!!! |
