Re: Team 111 - WildStang 2016
Yes it is. The front of this also pivots down with a secondary piston at the front. This allows it to get under the portcullis, and push down the CDF.

We paid careful attention to dead spots and the point of contact of the wheels on the defenses when looking at the amount of clearance for the base. |

The geometry of the base makes it so that it can get over every terrain based defenses without tortugaing. The wedges also eliminate any type of landing gear, as well as the ability to go forward and backwards over the defenses. |

Re: Team 111 - WildStang 2016
It's true; I like to compliment team on their beaver tails, as we have one ourselves. We were inspired by 973's intake from 2012. I haven't heard it be referred to as CD7 though. What does that mean?

Re: Team 111 - WildStang 2016
CD7 is Chief Delphi's 7th robot (2002).

What is that orange material riveted on the intake rollers?

Re: Team 111 - WildStang 2016
My guess is some form of rubber. You can see it in strips on their shooting hood too.

Re: Team 111 - WildStang 2016
What material are you using for the clear portion of the intake roller? I see it a lot, but actually don't know what teams are using!
