There are other factors like bowing out of playoffs out of state, or at third plays in their own region that may mess with a team's average. It adds an inconsistency across teams that are drafted. I would agree that this issue is worth discussing for the future, however, I believe the current ruling should stand through the season as I adjusted my picks accordingly to said rules (and I would suggest anyone do the same - play to the rules laid out even if they don't necessarily make sense).
