[How I Work] - Jim Zondag 33

Jim Zondag - This is How I Work

Quote:
It has been a long time since the last How I Work article has come out, so we're coming back with with Jim Zondag from FRC team 33, a veteran mentor who has been in FRC since 1998. In this interview, he talks about how his interest in STEM at a young age inspired him to pursue a career in engineering, which led him to join FRC. He joined the Killer Bees in their early years and has become an integral part of the team since. Read more about his amazing stories and advice from his many years in FRC, and learn how a veteran mentor works!

The PDF of the articles can be found here.

Thank you so much, Jim Zondag, for taking time out of your schedule to do this for us! His stories from his many years of experience on FRC are truly amazing. Jim also helps out on RoboZone, a weekly television series in Michigan that covers all Michigan FRC competition events. Robozone is currently in its second season; you can read more about it here.

If you would also like to be featured by our How I Work series, please contact us at team@spectrum3847.org.

He is just amazing! His contributions to OCCRA (Oakland County Competitive Robotics Association - competition) in MI is unbelievable.

If he was not Canadian born, I would have started petition: Jim for President

I really missed these! So glad they're back.

Learning about the lives of these mentors is really awesome and inspiring, especially for me as a College Student.

& I second the nomination of Brando!

He's Canadian? This explains so much about why the Bees are so successful.

In all seriousness though, incredible article about an even more amazing Mentor. I missed reading these and am glad they're back. They gave me great insight on the kind of mentor I aspire to be.

They are back whenever we get mentors who want to be a part of them. We need more mentors who want to help out in this effort.
