I've really enjoyed meeting teams from China, Brazil and Australia this year. It makes me interested in taking my team to a competition in a different country, to get the dual whammy of robotics + cultural/travel experience. But it's a bit daunting. I would love some advice on:
- How much families pay for travel/how much did it cost per student?
- How to arrange group plane travel?
- How to ship the robot and tools necessary to compete?
- How long do you spend visiting the country/away from school?
- Did you take your whole team?
- Did it feel worth it?
