Thumbs up J&J Regional Wrap-Up Impressions

Wow, what a competition. I have never before been a part of a regional that was so competitive. Thanks Team 25 and Team 340 for a RAC rockin' alliance. Congrats to Team 103 for the Chairman's Award.
What did you think about the J&J Regional?

Nice competition as always. Sadly, Chuck wasn't working correctly for most of it...and when we did work, it seems some calls were made against the alliance we were in that didn't seem all that great. *sigh*

Good job to all the teams that won/received awards.

25 - Great bot...awesome drivers. Unstoppable
103 - Good job on the Chairman's award.
222 - Good job (I forgot you award )...can't wait for PARC
1048 - Thanks...4th seed is excellent for a rookie! (too bad we didn't make it far in the finals)

Only 3 more days till we head to Houston. Now it's time for the easy part

We're sorry that we caused you guys to get that call (the bumped off battery terminal). That same call was made against our team in the qualifying rounds, and we hated it too -- it cost us a seeding position (assuming alliances would have been picked the same way) . The second match of the Quarterfinal was MUCH more intense though, and could have gone either way.

Yeah...no worries though...we plan to do good in Houston with all of our bugs now fixed Hope to see you (and others) there.

Great competition, the RAC is much bigger and was a lot cooler then the 150 degree College Ave. gym. The social/dinner last year was better though.

Franklin is poor and we aren't going to Houston, anyone care to take me along with them??

Sounds like a plan .

You think Xerox will sponsor us if we pursue them, after all, they did sponsor the award we were given.

My pics of the competition. I'd upload some of them here, but I'm lazy. They're mostly of Chuck (or the lower half of the refs/crew...grr...they were always in the way)
