I'm not sure either, but it looked like 1024 was having minor comm issues the previous match as well (they'd stop for a couple of seconds at silly times).

That plus 3506 had a wire on the roborio get knocked loose going over the rock wall in F-1. We went over one defense and lost comms and we would have won that match had that not happened. We simply did not have the best of luck during the Asheville event and we certainly had the potential to win it if all went well because our alliance with 587 and 3971 had the highest scoring potential for that side of the bracket. All did not go well but we tried our best.

Troy District (FiM)

2-2337,3539,6013 (F)
3-0217,6177,0322

6-4810,0226,6057 (SF)
7-5662,3398,5619
8-4961,6120,0862 *

217 declined 2337
2851 declined 910

No "graciously accepts"

* That second pick appeared to be per audience selection. Someone yelled out "862" and the alliance captain responded, "OK, 862 it is." Or maybe her reaction time was good and she quickly changed how she was going to call them up.

Sadly 10 "Graciously accepts" with 1 "Bravely accepts", others were "Gratefully".
Number in ( ) was an original ranking of the top 8 seeds, big pulls from the top. Technically 5404 in the third seed was the new 8th captain because of the two prior top selection.

Final score was a tie at 145, so the tie breaker rules took place. They had to go to scored auto points to break the tie.

High score for quals was 134, high score for elmins was 184.
