There was a lot of chaos in this match. We almost flipped over, tore the plastic off of the sally port, and removed the ramparts from their platform. In the end we got a yellow card and were disabled. Stronghold is a very crazy game.

Side note: We were able to go over the ramparts just fine in prior matches and did it in later matches but something was preventing us this match. We were not trying to intentionally damage the field.

First two are quite common. I'm suprised it was deemed your fault for the ramparts thing, usually in michigan we consider it a field fault and replay the match

They said we received the yellow card because we rammed it three times and couldn't get over it. They told us we should have "stopped when [we] knew we couldn't get over it". Like I said, in other matches we have had no trouble getting over the ramparts and we still don't know what was the cause this match.

Yeah, we had an issue where we couldn't go over the ramparts because it moved out from in front of us. It didn't move enough to come out of the platform, but it was noticeable. I asked the head ref after the match and he said it wasn't a field fault because 'the robots hit them with so much force.' I agree though, the above should have unquestionably been ruled a field fault. Ours is a bit arguable.

Re: SMR Q45

So while I don't fault the refs at all for their decision, I do think they should have stopped the match the moment it happened. Whether or not it deserves a yellow card, I was watching the match and it seems like a HUGE safety hazard to have a Ramparts floating around in an active match.
Just my two cents. Still, the refs and the whole field crew did a great job at SMR. Very few field faults throughout, especially compared to the average event for this year.
