Wrong colour spark

One of our SPARK controllers blinks a yellowish green at idle instead of blue. Does anybody know why it would be doing this? Everything else works perfectly and the LED shows the right colour the rest of the time. We were just really curious and couldn't figure it out.

Re: Wrong colour spark

The LED blinks blue in break mode and yellowish in coast mode.

You can set it one way or the other by pressing the mode button on the controller.

Re: Wrong colour spark

Hi Wiley,

Your yellow blinking SPARK is probably in Coast Mode. The others are in Brake Mode.

Press the Mode Button once with a straightened paperclip to switch between the modes.

More info can be found in the SPARK User's Manual found here: www.revrobotics.com/SPARK
