Wow looks like a full district championship for this weekend cant wait to see all the team and all their modifications. Surprised 2849 and 4638 wasn't mentioned in the boulder scoring. It will be a very cheesy elimination selection and playoff rounds. Is their any surprise dark horses that haven't been mentioned

422 has been a sleeper bot all season. They made it to semis at both of their District events and had an unfortunate loss in the finals of the UNC Asheville District event. Plus, I've heard great things about their ability to do the ramparts. I'd be very surprised if we didn't see them in elims.

Yea, we are taking a big risk, but we think it is worth it.

Our real strategy is to just function during our entire qual matches. We have determined we tend to score less when our robot isn't moving.

Honestly I don't think anyone in the top 75% of the stats could be counted 'probably out' of the tournament quite yet. I agree with the predictions and seriously doubt teams are settling for the robot they had at their last event.

I'm surprised the increase in defensive play in a traditionally-defensive region wasn't mentioned.
