I don't know if you saw this, but, a long long time ago (sometime last year) there was something posted about avoid posting to every other post. I think this was why posting was limited in threads such as "A Word Association Here." Just letting you know.

Lemme see.. fun things robotics members made with ducktape....

We locked one of our members into a bathroom at 11:30PM when he thought he was all alone, and then my friend made a blowgun holder out of ductape, and then we taped the kid with the blowgun holder to the ceiling.....lots of fun stuph.

alright.. this is going to sound a little wierd (even for this thread), but here it goes. Me (and 2 other friends) decided to do this to my ROTC bud back in the day. We taped his right arm to his left ankle, his left arm to the outermost part of his right shoulder (via putting his elbow behind his head), then taped his eyebrows (using double-sided duct tape [yes they DO make it) to 3 nine volt batteries connected in series. it was funny seeing him hop around on one leg like that for a while.

There's one here http://www.rit.edu/~us1stwww/chatindex.html

although I never go on, I've heard people talk about it..

Yeah I remember that bowling ball- ramp riot, right? I've also duct-taped a camera to a tripod (don't ask) and regularly duct-tape my folders when they start to fall apart..

Well since our team had the pirate costume and we were pirate themed, the girls from team 692 made me a pirate hook and eyepatch out of duct tape. That is what I wore everytime the robot went out.

Twister and Weatherproofing

When I was 10 years old, I weatherproofed the roof of my fort in my backyard with duct tape.

At parties, we now play "Extreme Twister" where one is duct taped to the wrist with the person to one side of them, and at the ankle with the person on the other side. (Leave it to a bunch of FIRSTers to not only improve on Twister, but to do it with duct tape!)

I hate to be the picky one here.. but isn't technically it called "duct" tape.. not "duck" tape? LoL...

And as far as what's been done with it by me.. lets just say it really isn't appropraite for this forum..

Lets see....Craziest thing to do with duct tape...

Ever seen those large foam novelty sombreros? Well during regionals we made one...outta duct tape. If you look at the webcast of the Lone Star regional quarter finals at the 43 min. mark, you can see the announcer wearing it. http://robotics.nasa.gov/events/webcasts/lonestar.htm
