Ok maybe i shouldn't act so surprised

Commercial Jets are much safer than cars just think of it that way.

You're less likely to die in a commercial jet than to die getting struck by lightning if that helps any.

And you're much much much less likely to die in a commercial jet than to die in a traffic accident (no matter how good a driver you are)

That said, dying in a plane crash is like winning the lottery, in a sorta bad way
