I have just released a block of 12 rooms that I reserved for Champs, since my team did not qualify at our Week 6 event.

If you are looking for last minute rooms, you might want to contact these folks. We researched rooms for weeks last summer, and liked these a lot.

Home2Suites, Forrest Park, 420 Taylor Park.

They are an easy ride on the metro, and last year the event had metro passes at a reasonable cost to participants. It's also an easy drive if you have a bus. The suites are large rooms with fridges, perfect for self-catering. Fantastic breakfast. And there is a pool - my team was very interested in the pool.

Three teams contacted me, and the rooms have been taken. The hotel is happy, I'm happy, and I assume the team who got them will be happy too. Another success for FIRST and Chief Delphi.

Hi teams! I have another set of blocks available this morning. If you need a block of 12 rooms call Drury Inn & Suites Brentwood at (313) 968-3704. This is just off the blue metro line (30 min away) in a nice neighborhood next to a target, trader joes, and best buy. Our team didn't quite make it this weekend at the PNW District Champs and we are super bummed to have to give these up. But, we are happy to give these to another great team out there! There's only one room left at the Drury Inn - Brentwood as I write this.

Our team is looking for 6 rooms closer than the housing we were provided 15 miles out. If anyone has something, please let me know.
