Feeling Like an Underdog in Curie?

Do you ever look at the teams in your division (16, 25, 48, 60, 66, 71, 79, 121, 126, 234, 245, 308, 343, 522, 610, 857 and the countless other good teams) and feel like an underdog? We do, so we came up with this little promotional video with appropriate background music. Best of luck to all at Nationals, Its gonna be nuts.

And we can't forget the Philly Regional Rookie Winners... 1218!

I can't figure out if the rookie thing makes us an underdog or the regional win makes us a team to beat...

Hey thanks for including us (343) in your list. But this game has too many angles to count anyone out. I expect strong competition from every team in the Curie division.

This year's competition is too unpredictable to concede victory to any team, that all they have to do is show up. The physical nature itself can cut any team down to size and bad alliances can also limit your affectiveness. In short it's anyone's game.

Very true, but those have always been in the game if you knew where to look. Though this game is different, similar elements do exist. It will probably be the teams that realize this and utilize it that will go far this year at Nationals(Which as I write this, my teams is leaving for in less than eight hours ).

The video was great. If I'm not mistaken, that was a song by the Clash, one of the best rock bands of all times.

Team 818 definitely doesn't have the credentials of some of the other teams (all that we've won so far is last year's All-Star Rookie at 2 regionals and Nationals). Still, we're going to show up and give it our best shot.

By the way...if anyone needs a quick robot that's got a good autonomous, torque, and the ability to knock things over come alliance time, 818 will accept offers from anyone. That is, unless we get lucky enough to do the picking...

Actually that song is called "We're gonna take on the world" by Mustard plug off their album Pray for Mojo ($@#$@#$@#$@# me and my radio impulses.) They're a really good ska band but I don't know if that was a cover or not.

We have another video thats a tribute to the six weeks that I made as well in addition to this one. It might be playing in our pits during nats but if you're interested, heres that movie. Its more of an in-joke than anything else. The music is mix so if there are any you're interested in, contact me.
