matchups you want to see at nationals

What teams do you want to see go at it in nationals this year? Maybe someone there can get them on video and post them.

i know that i want to see team 188 and 902 get mached up again. to see whos robot was better. they had the 6 drive motors but we had tank style drive for that extra traction. unfortunetly 902 isn't going to nationals. plus we didn't get the great finals match that we were hoping for at west michigan. we think we would have been equal in power.

I'd like to get another match with WildStang. I think given the right conditions, it could be a really high-scoring match.

I really thought 902 was going to go all the way at West Michigan, all day long they were pushing everyone around out there, they seemed unstoppable. However 188 Blizzard was quite strong also, that thing was always spinning the wheels no matter what it came up against until it moved whatever was in front of it.
The strategy in the finals though was impressive for the winners, 71 was disabled for leaving the field, 902 for some reason lost power and they pushed it up on the ramp to score more points and make winning nearly impossible. Great Strategy, Quick Thinking.

So far I would like to see a match between 111, 45, & 229 (Team Defense) on one team and (902), 494, 302, 469, 68 (Team robust drive offense) on the other vs 67, 226, 365 (Team stacker)

However I think the winning alliance will be one from each group similar to what happened at GLR. A stacker can make or break the multiplier, and a low pusher can wreck havoc out on the entire field, with 10 seconds to go its a charge for the top. And the third needs to be a mixture of all three.

Personaly...as far as matches my team could be in...i would love to get a rematch with Truck Town! because that was one of my favorite matches driverwise at the last regional i attended... So much good fighting Or have a match with Truck or Technokats on our alliance instead of always having to go up against them.

From a spectator standpoint i would love to see 4 of my favorite teams (45,68,71,111). That would be a pretty cool match!

Or to seeing all the flailers in 1 match would definately be cool!

303 versus 25 would be a heck of a battle: both are very robust. I would'nt bet money either way though. It would probably boil down to luck.

umm...

i would like to see 222 87 103 and 25 102 340 again...

IF 103 would have been working in the first finals match im sure we would have won....

We have been paired with 87 in Philly and New Jersy and at both competitions we placed 2nd.

Gee Ben- you mad at us?

Steve would like that matchup too. He has dreams of zipping the bot up your sides like a ski jump ramp. In that match Friday I could see it in his eyes- he wanted to do it but held back!! You know he can be a wild man with that machine!

Hey- you know that if there is a team that can wreck havoc on team 25 it is 303. Thats why we love you guys soooo much!

And thanks to 303 for the hard work of taking down the arena. We got hung up packing the bot and dealing with all the sideshow stuff that by the time we came out your team had most of the job done. Our apologies....

.....errrrr mebbe- but remember (unless I am mistaken), it was the previous match between 25 and 103 a few rounds earlier that started that whole repair nightmare. 103 was our first pick in Annapolis and we failed them there (sorry). I think the drill failure in the finals was the first time I saw their machine breakdown. In Md. we picked them for their reliability.

87- Diablo- gave us the biggest scare of the weekend. Thank God for those suckers of theirs or we would have been a dead turtle on the hill. (or mebbe you would have to see us turn ourselves over- he he). Fortunately we go into the Nationals as a team that has never flipped over- knock on wood.

Of course we can replay the game again in the off season comps. We plan on all of them and will work with 303 for the November event. PARC is coming!! Just keep the d@#$! deer off the highways so I don't need another front end for my van!!

No! I'm not mad!

That ski-jump idea was also in my mind: you guys could probably fly right over us.

Or even climb on top of us, so we could both get points for being on the ramp. How sweet would that be?

Curie had better watch out: 25 is a force to be reckoned with!

i say that 1126 SparX will do a great job again with 27 RUSH,

since we had won the buckeye regional with them and 541 Max S. Hayes. but i dont believe that max s. Hayes is in the newton division.

We (854 & 771) should have won our last game at the Canadian regionals (we lost by one contraversial bin), so i would really like to see:

854+771 vs. 48+(1114?)
