Fun to do at St Louis

As part of the fun, we always try to make 3 different things in US

The most important thing is to compete.
As all the foreign, we like to shop,
and to finish the trip, we like to do something fun and something cultural

We use to go to museums of to see the snow (in Brazil this is not a reality), go to parks (such as six flags...)

What do you recommend us to do with our students?

Re: Fun to do at St Louis

The City Museum is really cool. There are a lot of exhibits but the best part is that it is a playground for everyone. You are encouraged to climb on everything and they have a lot of fun things to climb in and around. Also, they have 10 story (45 meters) tall slide.

Cosigned. 2815 went in 2012 and had so. much. fun. Even when I thought I was about to kick the head off of one of the girls on the team because she stuck her head in at the bottom of the slide to look up--I was cookin' going down those rollers!

Re: Fun to do at St Louis

The Zoo and City Museum are great suggestions. I would also add the St. Louis Science Center to the list, which is also free.

*Note: It's not open very late, but if you were to arrive early on Wednesday before load-in, it is a place to kill some time.

I would very much agree! 2169 KING TeC makes it a priority to go every year we go to world's! The climbing gym outside is amazing and thrillingly high up! Plus the inside has endless amounts of tunnels and caves that meander around underneath and above the floor! I'd highly recommend it to any traveller going to the St. Louis area. Also, if at all possible, check out Pappy's Smokehouse. Best barbecue on the planet!

Re: Fun to do at St Louis

If you visit the Zoo, it's worth making a side trip to Turtle Playground, just across the freeway from the south parking lots. I stumbled over this last year -- it's quite amazing.

Re: Fun to do at St Louis

You can always go to a Cards game, that's quite a cultural experience. Could be a little pricey, but if you've done 6 Flags before that's probably not a huge deal.

+1

As another international team, the City Museum is a MUST for us whenever we go. You can spend heaps of time there, we'd probably spend half a day. A highlight for us every year!!

In addition to the City Museum, first time visitors should definitely check out the Gateway Arch. It has such a beautiful view, and is rich in American history for everyone to learn. The ride up is awesome!!
