Go to Post FIRST is aimed at those girls on your team. They don't know anything about mechanics, or electricity, or programming, or machining. They have no interest in it, either. They're perfect candidates for FIRST. - Madison [more]

How does it get them penalties? If they drive up to the castle then pull the arm in, they would never be extending over 15" beyond the frame perimeter because the arm goes inside the frame perimeter.

Re: pic: 904 hangs in there

I am told they custom built the Omni's.

Nice hanging, 904. It was fun to watch at our events!

Oops my mistake, last I checked I thought the interpretation of the 15" while climbing orientation thing was slightly different. As most robots would have had to leave the 15" while rotating up the tower, you are correct. Oops

Re: pic: 904 hangs in there

Indeed, you guys are hanging in there as a leaf hangs from a tree. This engineering ascent is spectacular and I applaud team 904 for climbing to new feats. To this day, Isaac Newton would be proud of such a physics feat, scaling a barbaric tower to capture their tower and land is something that even Newton would crack a smile to.

TL;DR Congrats on scaling, I will catch you guys at World Championships to see your feats.
