Go to Post Engineering fundamentally comes down to problem solving, and if the students can't get excited and inspired by the problem solving process because someone has spoon fed them a solution, then nobody wins. Until you get predictably yellow carded. Pretty sure 254 is legal though.

Well, once again, 254 has proved that their memes are some of the dankest in the world. And their robot is pretty good too!

I believe that they are also, what I was thinking was on the rare occasion something messes up the reward out weights the risk every time. I also think that refs will have a hard time justifying giving a penalty for crossing a fraction of an inch over the line when there is only such a small second that it happens.

Re: Dropshots Fired!

When picking up the second ball are you using a photoelectric sensor or some other sensor to detect when the robot has reached the ball? Is that what the yellow thing next to the bumper is?

It is expressly illegal, and thus if they cross over the line at all they should be penalized.

That being said, we're all looking forward to seeing them pull this off in a match

Cons of living in California from a Canadian standpoint:
  • No Gregor
  • No Karthik
  • No Tim Horton's
  • No snow

Pros of living in California from a Canadian standpoint:
  • No snow
  • Ice capps are always in season
  • Polar bears don't chew on your radio wires
  • Soldering irons don't take an hour to heat up
  • FRC on-field glass doesn't occasionally have shoe marks on it

On Topic: Wow, that's an awesome auton. I'll be looking forward to seeing it in person at Champs!

If someone does a 3 ball auto, I will flip a table.... It might be the table with our bot on it
