Is the tower strength going to be changed to 10, like with championships or stay at 8

Re: Missouri Robotics State Championship- 2016

I've heard that the portcullis will not be available for off-season use due to safety concerns. Another thread has already been created for this, I could not find an official statement of this by FIRST, but the owner of the thread states here, that Frank said that only the CDF will be in play for catigory A. Will there be a portcullis, or just the CDF, or will a new defense be made to replace it like in that thread?

Re: Missouri Robotics State Championship- 2016

4329 is very much looking forward to competing at the Missouri State Champs! It will be great to play with and against our KC friends that we haven't had a chance to see until now.

If anyone attending has some spare weight and is interested in a cheesecake hang / blocker, swing by our pit and let's swap cheesecake recipes.

We just spoke with Andy Mark and confirmed that we will NOT have a portcullis. We will only use the CDF for this event. We will not be creating another defense.

No. They can choose from the top 8. It is just like a standard FRC regional. The only difference is that the rankings are already set. The exhibition matches that we are having prior to alliance selections do not count/effect rankings.
