As per the 254 vision processing session at worlds, language doesn't really change performance of openCV, since it's c++ under the covers. So, pick a language you're comfortable with, pyImageSearch has a good amount of tutorials, so we went python.

What OS do you use. I am struggling with windows trying to find a pain free way of installing OpenCV and I am wondering if I should just virtual box a Linux based OS
