Computer Science Position at Greenville High School (148)

Hey CD,

We currently have an opening for a Computer Science teacher here at Greenville High School, home of FRC Team 148 The Robowranglers and VRC Team 4148 the Iron Cowboys.

We are hoping to fill this position not only with someone qualified to teach computer science but also someone interested in helping our robotics programs.

Job description:
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the area of assigned teaching field to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university preferred
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned (can work with you on this)
Computer Science certification required
Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned and computer programming

Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of Computer Science and related fields
Knowledge of core academic subject assigned
General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
