Launch of the new Team Registration System!



FIRST is excited to announce the release of the new Team Registration portion of our website, which will replace the existing Team Information Management System (TIMS)! Pre-registration for the 2017 FIRST Robotics Competition season will open on Thursday, May 19 at 12:00 pm (Noon) Eastern Time, at which time you will be able to login to the new registration system with your existing username (your email) and password to update your account team information for the 2017 season.

More specific information about the new Team Registration System can be found here. At the bottom of that page, you can find a link to a detailed pdf, including screenshots of the new system, as well as a step-by-step directions for use.

The new Team Registration System opened for our FIRST LEGO League program this past Tuesday, and will be available for the FIRST Tech Challenge teams on May 18th and FIRST LEGO League Jr. teams on August 1st.

One of the many benefits of the new system is that the need for four separate program Team Registration Systems goes away – the new team registration is now an extension of firstinspires.org website. The new Team Registration System will make it much easier for Coaches and Mentors to create and manage their teams. What this means is that coaches and mentors will be able to manage all their teams across our family of programs through one account, rather than having multiple accounts for multiple teams.
