Re: Best Scaling Bot This Season?

Has 179 really not been mentioned yet? That was my favorite. They could basically score their robot they were so high up, and their climb looked amazing.

IN Favorites:
1501- looked like a really cool arm. It looked like a claw reaching for the bar and the *click* of success when it finally latches on.

71- Had a great scale from the start. It was something they very rarely failed at. (P.S., it was fun working with you at state champs. I also enjoyed saying yes finally )

234- our team finally scaled. That red scissor lift looked really cool. Plus it was fun seeing our driver walk across the whole driver station area to watch it hook on.

135- All I can say is candy cane. It looked great going up.

292- It was never a pretty finish. It always looked like your bot was crooked and was about to fall off. None the less, it worked and that's why it was one of my favorites. It doesn't have to look pretty to work. (Plus your wench holder was pretty cool too

868- Literally the first time I saw you climb, I thought you broke your climber. The fact that your arm breaks in half (looks like it does at least) every time your scale made it look cool.

4103- I first saw that scaler at the pre season event at 1741's place. It was a nice scissor lift.

3176- It was really cool seeing you guys work on it in the pits to it working on the field at state. I was really glad to see you climb.

I bet I missed an IN bot somewhere. That's all I can think of for now. I'll edit if I think of any more. To say the least, great job IN teams on scaling.

P.S. I was waiting all year for 1024 to turn your portcullis and cheval de frise mechanism into a scaler. I have no idea if that was ever apart of your plans but I figured that would have been the best place for it for a 179 type scaler.
